A Walk to Remember

I wanted to read something of romantic genre and hence I started this book and till the time I ended, I was in tears.

This book is powerfull enough to make you smile, laugh, heartbroken and cry by the end. It tells us how much love and life we truely deserve and how intensely someone can love and be loved.

The two characters Landon and Jamie were adorable in their own way. Although they were not meant to be together but somehow they figured a way.

Nicholas sparks portrayed the meaning of love and affection in the way one can easily understand and feel.

Love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous. Love is never boastful or conceited. It is never rude or selfish. It does not take offense and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people’s sins, but delights in the truth. It is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes.

The moment I ended the book, I wrote a poem, (given below)

She said everything is in lord’s hands,
And he loved her with all he had,
But may be lord had different plans.
She had faith, which he never found,
But for once he felt that God was definitely around.
She wanted a miracle,
It happened to be him,
Standing in fresh air,
He thought about the ceremony,
Inhaled her beautiful scent,
Still living, but only in his memory.

I would recommend this book to everyone. Read it out and tell me what part you liked or hated.
